The North Brunswick Football Club faced its first challenge of 2015 when Point Cook wandered down to the Bullring. Coming off 2 substantial wins at Jordan reserve, the Bulls were about to be tested. But rather than recounting the blow-by-blow details of both games, we thought this would be a great opportunity to look at some of the positives from the first 4 rounds.
One of the real positives early in the year is the numbers on the track. Having so many committed players at training on Tuesdays and Thursday has been a real highlight with both the senior and reserves coming together. The addition of Danger to the senior side, as well as the welcome return of Tom Davis has added to the positive energy around the club.
The reserves squad has been bolstered by the patience and understanding of Charlie and Paul. Added to this is a bevy of new players ably supported by some of the old guard in Luke Spano and Troy Geary.
On field the Bulls have been ruthless in their attack on the ball. While recent results have not fallen our way, the endeavour of the Bulls is without question.
This week we are one again at home, this time celebrating women and their contributions to our football club, our communities and our lives. Additionally this is a time to raise awareness about Breast Cancer and raise funds to support further research.
Until next week.
